The Problem

Following the introduction of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the tightening of regulations on the processing of personal data in third countries, the workload in Ringier's legal department has increased significantly. This is especially the case in the area of reviewing data processing agreements (DPAs). The large time expenditure and repetitive review work per DPA tied up a lot of resources.
