Zurich, 28 May 2026. Around one month after launching the Legal AI Workspace, Legartis is extending the product with Contract Management. Contracts are now worked on across their entire lifecycle in the Workspace, from drafting and review through negotiation, signing and renewal. The new feature is available with immediate effect.

The contract work between review and renewal has, in many companies, sat in separate systems: the signed contract in SharePoint, the latest version in Procurement's email, the renewal reminder in one person's calendar. With the new Contract Management feature, a contract now stays in the Legartis Legal AI Workspace, with every version, its deadlines and the tasks attached to it.

Lifecycle mapped in the Workspace

Every contract is given a clear status in the Workspace, from review through negotiation to the active contract period. As soon as it is ready, signing runs directly through DocuSign. After signing, the Workspace agents take over: they monitor deadlines, flag upcoming renewals in good time, and keep the obligations documented in the contract visible.

Version comparison and version history

Every contract remains in the Workspace with its full version history. When the counterparty sends a new draft of a framework agreement, the lawyer places it next to the previous version and sees, in seconds, which clauses have changed.

Team collaboration

Contract work is teamwork. With Contract Management, tasks are created directly on the contract, with clear ownership, deadlines and a full history. A colleague in Procurement asks Legal to run a review, a lawyer obtains an approval before signing, a colleague in Compliance sees what is in progress and what is on her list. Teams are organised along the company structure, whether Procurement, Sales, HR or Legal.

Availability

Contract Management becomes part of the Legal AI Workspace on 28 May 2026. Legartis offers a two-week free trial of the entire Legal AI Workspace, including Contract Management.
