Legartis Extends Agentic Contract Work into Contract Negotiations

With Contract Negotiation, Legartis prepares negotiation positions, reviews every new contract version against the Contract Playbook, and supports teams through to signature.
Zurich, [date], 2026. Legartis is expanding its Legal AI Workspace with Contract Negotiation. The new capability picks up where contract review ends. Users send the reviewed contract directly from the Workspace to the counterparty. Every returned version is automatically analysed and prepared for the next negotiation round. This keeps the entire process in the Legal AI Workspace through to signature.
Contract negotiations are not slowed down by complex content alone. Moving from one version to the next also takes time. Documents travel back and forth between the parties by email. Changes must be compared and assessed manually. After several rounds, reconstructing who introduced or approved which position often requires considerable effort.
The Legal Agent automatically compares every new contract version with the previous one and summarises the most important changes. It highlights which points need to be reassessed and where a decision is required.
Fallback positions in the Contract Playbook provide the team with predefined alternatives when its preferred position is not accepted. This means approved options are immediately available for critical points.
The Legal Agent also prepares the next steps or drafts a response to the counterparty. Every version, applied position, and approval remains traceable throughout the process.
