Legartis Launches Agentic Workflows in its Legal AI Workspace

Zurich, 23 September 2026. Swiss Legal AI company Legartis is expanding its Legal AI Workspace with agentic workflows. The Legal Agent now takes on complete legal processes, from incoming requests and contract review to negotiation, approvals, reporting and signature.

Legal teams determine the rules the Agent follows and where its autonomy ends. They define playbooks, templates, responsibilities and decision boundaries. Within this framework, the Legal Agent executes the work. As soon as a deviation exceeds a defined boundary, it refers the matter to the responsible person for a decision.

“The next stage of Legal AI begins when AI moves beyond solving individual tasks and starts executing legal work according to an organisation’s own rules,” says David Alain Bloch, CEO and Co-Founder of Legartis. “Legal defines the framework. The Agent applies it across the organisation.”

A typical workflow starts with an incoming contract. The Legal Agent identifies the relevant business function, contract type and playbook, reviews the contract against the defined requirements and continues the process within the approved positions. If, for example, a liability clause exceeds a defined boundary, the Agent refers the deviation to the responsible person. It presents possible solutions and obtains the required approval.

New workflows can be created directly in natural language. Users tell the Legal Agent, either by voice or in writing, which steps it should carry out. The Agent executes the workflow according to the rules already defined. This allows different legal routines to be created and reused across the Workspace.

Business teams also operate within this framework. Procurement and Sales use their own Focus Spaces with the rules and templates approved by Legal. They review contracts, negotiate within defined positions and obtain decisions where the agreed boundaries are exceeded. Legal only becomes involved where its judgement is required.

Analysis and reporting follow the same rules defined by Legal. The Legal Agent analyses data across the Workspace and highlights risks, deadlines and recurring deviations from company standards. The results remain traceable to the underlying source.
