Where a clause deviates, it proposes new wording. Agentic Legal AI goes a step further: it is given a task rather than a question and carries it out over several steps, from the incoming request to the finished report. Only what falls outside the limits you have set reaches you.
Legal AI changes the legal department's role more than its tools. You no longer handle every individual case. You define how every case is handled, and you keep the ones that need your judgement. The system does the work. Legal sets the standard and decides the exception.
Legal AI does not replace lawyers. It takes on the analytical work that repeats itself. You set whether a requirement is mandatory, optional or not permitted, which values are acceptable and which risk level applies. The Legal Agent maps every deviation to the requirement it breaches. Accuracy is measured per requirement. The AI builds a test set for each requirement from your contracts; you check the marked passages and correct them. One of the metrics is the F1 score, which combines precision and recall in a single figure. Across all requirements, ours is above 90%. You see the quality score for each requirement individually, not as one overall grade. The more sample contracts in the test set, the more reliable the figure.
